As simple as clicking on an unidentified email attachment could possibly be a virus attack, that may infect one’s computer.
Leaving a virus on your personal computer possibly affects the speed of your computer as it tries to communicate data it collects to whoever owns the virus while using the valuable computer or laptop, resources.
This can put a strain on the hard drive, ram, network, even the operating system as a whole and even more components (depending on the type of virus). If this sounds like your computer, then please read below to find out how to recover from a Virus Attack.

Steps to follow
As soon as the computer or laptop has been infected by any virus, that is also referred to as malicious code. If you feel that your computer has been hit by the latest virus, then right away disconnect the entire system. (USB devices, the internet, and any other external devices)
Clean Up
After disconnecting the computer or laptop, it’s time to remove the malicious code. Use Virus removal tools for a particular virus or have a specialist take care of the virus by contacting us here.
You can even try to use the windows built-in antivirus applications to keep it from further computer damage, however, we like to use around 10 different cloud-based virus, malware or rootkit scanners,
We use multiple scanners, mainly as we know some virus databases will be able to find different viruses to others. (but please do not install two antivirus software as they can conflict with each other)
Reinstall and fully Recover from a Virus Attack
In order to recover from a virus attack When the system has been confirmed to contain the virus, then before you probably even realized it, it changes data files or deletes them.
Thus, better you restore the software applications to their original condition. In case, your operating system is destroyed due to a virus, then proceed to reinstall it.
(check out our other post for your FREE copy of Windows here).
Before reinstallation, get ready with the required information like original application, CDs, registration data, serial keys, and licences along with all the correct drivers
Scan for Viruses (Yes, again)
When the reinstallation is completed, install the antivirus application and scan the entire system of your computer or laptop for a virus and remove it if present.
You should have nothing after a fresh install, but you still have to be careful like only connecting to the internet once your antivirus system is already installed and active, including a VPN for extra security.
