However, before you continue your Windows 10 Upgrade, you must first ensure that your computer has the capacity to enable upgrading to Windows 10.
If your personal computer is running Windows 8.1, you should have no issue. Here are the state system requirements for Windows 10:
- Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor
- Ram Memory: 1 gigabyte (GB) for 32-tad or 2 GB for 64-bit
- Hard disk drive space: 16 GB for 32-tad Operating-system 20 GB for 64-tad OS
- Graphics credit card: DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver
- Screen: 800×600
You’ll find one’s specs by heading to the Start button and typing msinfo32.exe into the search box.
However, you should think about creating a backup image of windows 7 or windows 8 installed prior to doing the upgrading to windows 10.
An Image is a snapshot of your complete disk you can use as a way to save your computer in the event you decide you don’t like Windows 10 after an upgrade or if the upgrade or Windows 10 installation goes wrong or even breaks your personal computer.

Windows 10 upgrade troubleshooting:
To reset your Windows 10 PC and wipe everything, open the Settings app, select Update & security, select Recovery. Next, click the “Get started” button under Reset this PC.
Select “Remove everything,” and this will wipe all your files. Before doing this, make sure you have backed up all of your personal files or pictures, music, documents, etc.
Run Windows 10 Update
You might immediately find some things aren’t working when Windows 10 installs for the very first time.
Maybe the design is off or possibly your printer no longer prints. The very first thing you must do after updating to Windows 10 is run windows update.
This may download any new Windows 10 drivers your computer may be missing. To run Windows Update from Windows 10, go to the search box near the Start button and type Windows Update.
