How To Use Lenovo OneKey Recovery

Below, I will show how you can use the Lenovo OneKey Recovery utility on your computer to restore the partition back to factory condition.

The recovery partition is a hidden portion of the main drive that has a factory image on it that can be used to overwrite your C drive in the event it ever becomes corrupt.

The OneKey utility also allows you to create a system image and save it to another location.

The Lenovo OneKey Recovery system is software designed to back up and restore your computer.

You can use it to restore the system partition to its original status in case of a system failure. But you can also create user backups for easy restoration as required.

Creating these incremental backups are a good idea as you install software and Windows Updates.

How To Backup Your Partition

Your Lenovo computer comes with a built-in utility for creating backups. Use the Lenovo OneKey utility to save your backups to the existing hard drive, or to an external hard drive.

You can also back up the system partition to an image file.

To back up the system partition:

Press the Lenovo button to start the Lenovo OneKey Recovery system. Next, click System Backup.

Select a backup location and then click Next to start the backup.

Pro Tip: If you are creating a system backup, it’s best to keep it on an external hard drive in case the internal drive fails.

Restoring Your Backup

You can choose to restore the system partition to its original status or to a previously created backup point.

To restore the system partition:

Press the Novo button to start the Lenovo OneKey Recovery system.

Click System Restoration. The computer will restart in the restoration environment.

Follow the on-screen instructions to revive the machine partition to its original status or even to a recently created backup point

If Windows can’t be started, then follow the steps below to start the Lenovo OneKey Restoration system:

Turn off the computer.

Press the Novo button. In the Novo button menu, choose the Lenovo OneKey Restoration system and press Enterx thats it wait for the system to recover and your are all set.
